When I bought my first six string bass, I immediately started experimenting with this beautiful instrument, the wider fundamental range of extended notes lent itself perfectly towards interesting and somewhat classical compositions. Though these instrumentals are not produced, they have a raw feel to them which in my opinion, gives them a bit more feel and touch.
These do not make part of the project that you will mainly find on the site, these are more an expression of myself at certain points in time. This must have been one of my earliest compositions on bass. Experimenting with different layers of bass melodies. The introduction is played on one bass and recorded in a take whilst the solo part on another.
