A short story written by Peter Portelli and transformed into an aural storytelling experience.
This is my second collaboration with a narrative and music, and am looking forward to more of the same. Within my compositions I try to express a feeling and a story without words. In this case we have a narrator to relate the story.
The music is always secondary in these narratives, however I try to steer, thru sounds and melody, the mood of the narrative, evoking a sense of feeling and ownership to the words being spoken.
Peter is a novelist and short story writer, as well as being a musician. He has written a number of short stories which we will begin posting for your enjoyment.
